"My self and 3 brothers went to gourley st school"
Thanks Jacquie Ive updated Billy's name in the class picture. If you can recall any teachers names, please let us know. Welcome again. I actually lived at 182 which was the first close after the bridge next to the big railway gates. If you click on TELL YOUR STORY on the navigation panel onthe left, and read 'Stephen Remembers' that is my story and there is some info on Gourlay street in that.

Hi..I went to four lay street school, I think it was in1974 though. I have got to say that some of my most fondest childhood memories were when I was there, my favourite teachers were Mr McArthur and Mr Mungo who I still remember very well. Unfortunately the school closed down when I was going into primary 7 when I was sent to sighthill primary Do you find this valuable?

Hi I went to Gourlay Street Primary between 1970-1972 I would love to hear from anyone who was there around this time and would be grateful for any photographs people may have. Unfortunetely my Parents dont have any school photo's of me so would love to see who may have any. I stayed in Gourlay Street think the number was 148 I know it was the top flay right above the Off Licence which If I remember correct was called Victoria Wines. I was known by my Stepfathers surname ( Clark ) Ann Clark. Please if someone could get in touch with any details I would be so Grateful. Regards Ann
